Ruth Bader Ginsburg Praises Brett Kavanaugh Again For Appointing An ‘Entire Staff’ Of Females

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg praised Justice Brett Kavanaugh in a panel Tuesday at Georgetown Law’s Supreme Court Institute for making history by appointing an “entire staff” of females.

The panel included Justice Ginsburg and two of her former law clerks, both female, and discussed her focus on gender equality along with her life and work.

“There is a very important first on the Supreme Court this term and it’s thanks to our new justice, Justice Kavanaugh, whose entire staff, they’re all women, all of his law clerks are women … it’s the first time in the history of the United States that there have been more women clerking than men,” Ginsburg said during the panel. (RELATED: DAVIS: The Kavanaugh Smear Campaign Is Alive And Well)

Ginsburg stated later in the panel that “we are getting rid of the overtly explicit classification that women can’t do this or can’t do that. Almost all of those are gone.” (RELATED: Justice Ginsburg Is Back At The Supreme Court, And She’s Sending A Message)

These remarks come just a month after Ginsburg previously praised Justice Kavanaugh at a Second Circuit Judicial Conference on June 7.
