WHERE SHE WAS
The first lady spoke to middle and high school students earlier today at a youth summit on opioid awareness in Baltimore, Maryland. FLOTUS has been traveling across the country doing these events as part of her #BeBest initiative.
WHAT SHE SAID
“We live in a democracy and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the fact is we have a serious crisis in our country and I remain committed to educating children on the dangers and deadly consequences of drug abuse.”

ON MELANIA
Bullying of the first lady needs to be put to an overwhelming halt. Rather than be judged for the opinions and actions of her husband, she should be recognized for her own individual achievements.
ON BE BEST
Be Best supports online safety, well-being and opioid addiction. We’ve already seen the negative effects of these issues throughout the nation. Therefore, better equipping children to handle the challenges they’ll face growing up should be supported on a united front.
