Karlan: Trump ‘Can Name His Son Barron But He Cannot Make Him A Baron’ | NBC News

The details: In today’s impeachment hearings, Professor Pamela Karlan said that Article II of the Constitution does not give Trump the power to do whatever he wants. She continues on to provide an example by insulting the president’s son:

“I’ll just give you one example that shows you the difference between him and a king, which is the Constitution says there can be no titles of nobility. So while the president can name his son ‘Barron’, he can’t make him a ‘baron’.”
