Ivanka’s Look-a-Like Model is Offensive, But Her Response is Dignified
Crumbs thrown at Ivanka look-a-like as she vacuums up
It’s easy to accept the fact that Ivanka receives loads of criticism in her largely public role as senior advisor.
This art exhibition went over the top, though.
Created by Jennifer Rubell in February and installed in D.C., the exhibit was meant to explore Ivanka’s ‘almost comically wide range of feminine identities’ and serve as a ‘questioning of our complicity in her role-playing,’ according to a press release for the exhibit.
Visitors were invited to throw crumbs on a white pedestal placed adjacent to the look-a-like model as she vacuumed the hot-pink carpet beneath her. The crumbs accrued an obnoxious amount over the course of the exhibit.
Ivanka bit back at the exhibition’s portrayal of her, saying, “Women can choose to knock each other down or build each other up. I choose the latter.”

Today’s spotlight on conservative women goes to Ronna McDaniel. Who is she?
McDaniel currently serves as the second woman ever elected as Chair of the Republican National Committee. She also served as the State Chair from Michigan and helped win them over for Trump in the 2016 election – with the narrowest margin of victory in Michigan’s history.

McDaniel is a wife and mother to her two children. She attended Brigham Young University where she received her B.A. in English.
In a recent tweet, McDaniel said, “While the Democrat Party is courting disaster by fully embracing a bogus impeachment sham, the @GOP is unified behind @realDonaldTrump!”
