Great News, Great Look

Ivanka looked glamorous in her satin green dress as she met with the president, Betsy Devos, Senator Tim Scott and Senator Lamar Alexander on Thursday.

The meeting secured permanent funding for HBCUs and MSIs (Historically Black Colleges and Minority Serving Institutions) as part of the Future Act. How much, you may ask? These institutions are set to receive an additional $255 million in annual funding. The Future Act will also simplify the process of filling out FAFSA documentation.

This is great news, and the first daughter looked great delivering it, too. Her satin green dress went down to her ankles and featured a crewneck cut and cinched waist wrap. She paired the look with classic black stilettos and pearl earrings.

In an interview on Face the Nation on Thursday, Ivanka finally spoke out about the issue on everyone’s mind: impeachment.

“He said it didn’t even feel like he was being impeached,” said Ivanka regarding her father post-impeachment.

How’s he feeling? Angry but energized. “Angry at the waste of time,” she said. “Angry at the collateral damage. Angry, but it’s still energizing. And it focuses you on really and draws into relief the stark contrast in priorities.”

His energy shows in his progress despite the drastic series of impeachment events – including his trade agreement with Mexico and Canada (USMCA), funding for the Future Act, stock market highs, rising poll numbers, and passing of the National Defense Authorization Act.

The House voted to impeach Trump this week, and the Senate trial will reportedly begin in early January.
