New year, same Twitter drama. Celebrity model and television personality Chrissy Teigen is known for her outspoken opinions on social media – especially when it comes to the president.
Her most recent attack involved the first lady. On New Year’s Eve, Melania was asked by the press what her New Year’s resolution was for 2020. She responded with “peace on the world” because, well, she’s truly a saint.
The video was posted on Twitter by The Hill, which was then retweeted by Teigen, who said: “that’s birthday wishes, dumbass. and calibrate the robot to your left she’s going haywire.”
Melania was also criticized by other Twitter users that followed suit.
This should serve as a reminder that regardless of the actions of any celebrity, peer, or political figure, it’s imperative to serve by example. Teigen has over 12 million followers on Twitter – a following being fed by her hate and complete disregard for the opportunity she has to influence people in a positive way.
