Let the Caucuses Begin

It’s the day everyone’s been waiting for: the Iowa caucuses, which will set the precedent for subsequent caucuses and foreshadow the success of Democratic candidates moving forward.

Ivanka hasn’t forgotten what this was like for her and her father four years ago. She took to Instagram to remind us, saying:

Ivanka was almost nine months pregnant when the last Iowa caucuses occurred in 2016… but that didn’t stop her.

“I’m going to be in Iowa, my father’s going to be in Iowa, my brothers are going to be in Iowa,” Ivanka said while helping her father campaign in 2016. “We’ll all be there at various caucus locations, and we really hope to see you.”

The details: Melania spent a weekend away from the White House to visit the family’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida – and she returned more fabulous than ever.

Pictured above, Melania donned an Atelier Caito dress, featuring red and black stripes around the waist, for Hervé Pierre’s pre-fall ’20 collection. Paired with red stilettos and a navy blue coat, she yet again proved herself as the fashion icon we know and love.

The first lady wore her hair in classic waves and sported smoky eyeshadow as she arrived back at the White House on Sunday night.
