Karen Pence is ready to join the campaign trail!
Second lady and wife to VP Mike Pence, Karen is no stranger to spreading the voting spirit. Her husband held six terms in the U.S. House and was elected governor of Indiana for four years. However, she wasn’t seen much during Trump’s first run for president in 2016.
The second lady told AP News that she’s excited to do her part and tell the story of “promises made, promises kept.” She’s already started spreading the message – she spoke at a “Latinos for Trump” event in Nevada and “Women for Trump” event in Minnesota.
During her campaigning, Pence plans to highlight economic gains made under the Trump administration, opportunity zones for low-income communities, deregulation and trade policy, according to AP News.
“Whatever you’re doing, we need you to do more, and whatever you’re giving, we need you to give more. We need four more years of President Donald Trump,” Pence said at a rally in New Hampshire this month.
Aside from campaigning, Pence spends her time helping military families and teaching art at a local elementary school.
