Donald Trump was joined by Melania, Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner on Monday for his first official visit to India.

President Trump and the first lady were graciously welcomed at Motera Stadium by a crowd of 110,000 people. Trump officially “inaugurated” the brand-new stadium, which filled every seat upon his arrival.

Attendees waved American flags and sported white hats with the words ‘Namaste Trump’ in support of the U.S. president. The energy was much like a MAGA rally back home.

During his stadium speech, Trump announced a massive $3 billion military partnership with India. He also praised India’s economy and the reelection of Narendra Modi, India’s Prime Minister, in 2019.

The First Lady and I have just traveled 8,000 miles around the globe to deliver a message to every citizen across this nation: America loves India — America respects India — and Americans will always be true and loyal friends to the Indian people,” Trump said.

President Trump and Melania, as well as Ivanka and Jared, paid a visit to the Taj Mahal during their trip to India.
