A Message from First Lady Melania Trump

In times of crisis, it is important now more than ever to hold our leaders accountable for their actions, and to make informed decisions for the sake of the people.

Though, the attacks made against our Trump women are far from justified, with many claiming that they are immune to the difficulties faced by most working families.

It may be true that their lives in the administration require a different lifestyle, but their efforts are empathetic and well-researched. Both the first daughter and first lady have used their social platforms to share resources, campaigns and CDC information to keep the public well-informed on how to handle the current crisis.

One example of a recent attack made on Twitter by model and TV personality, Chrissy Teigen, included the following: 

“Has melania even thought about doing something with her be best s— during these times… ALL I have seen this bot do is gently touch Christmas ornaments in a cape and stare in a cape and pat statues in a different cape and then change her cape into a rude a– jacket.”

As expected, our Trump women are keen at bouncing back from their critics. On March 7, Melania used her Twitter to spread a positive message, saying, “I encourage everyone who chooses to be negative & question my work at the @WhiteHouse to take time and contribute something good & productive in their own communities.”

As loyal followers of the hard-working women in the administration, it’s vital to continue supporting their efforts in these trying time, and to be committed to staying educated and optimistic by following their example.
