Ivanka Trump helps local farmers, launches new food distribution program

As part of the CARES Act, Ivanka Trump is helping launch a new food distribution program in her effort to help small businesses during the coronavirus crisis.
Through the “Farmers to Families Food Box Program,” the federal government will buy meat, produce and dairy products from farmers to deliver to local distribution centers and fill existing gaps in the food supply chain.

Yes! Farmers are hurting. I did like the idea of how the United Mine workers bought food from an organization and then the UMW bought the food for food boxes. It was a ware house and you could go into the warehouse and pick what you want according to the number of people in your family. That was better because it was not wasting food. I volunteered with the program. all the food was accounted for when delivery was done.
They had a freezee and refrigerator. The warehouse was donationed by local citizens by donations.
Trump has a great family to help him.
