Trump campaign wants fourth debate with Biden

President Donald Trump’s campaign wants to have a fourth debate with Democratic rival Joe Biden. The campaign cited the expected surge in mail and absentee voting this fall as the reason for the fourth debate.

“We want fair debates,” said Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale. “We want them sooner and we want a bigger schedule. We also don’t want them up against football games competing for viewers. As many Americans as possible need to see the stark differences between the accomplishments and leadership of President Trump and the failed record and sleepiness of Joe Biden.”

Parscale made the formal request Thursday in a call with the nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates.

Biden’s campaign said it wasn’t looking for another debate and instead plans to participate in those already scheduled.

“We are not going to ride the roller coaster of the ever-changing Trump campaign position on debates, nor are we going to be distracted by his demands,” Biden’s deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield said.

“We will make this simple. Like every other Democratic and Republican candidate since 1992, we will show up for the debates set by the Commission on Presidential Debates, at the places they have selected, on the dates they have selected, with the formats and moderators they designate so long as Donald Trump does the same, and does not intimidate the Commission into changes from past practices,” Bedingfield added.

The first presidential debate is scheduled for September 29 at the University of Notre Dame. Trump’s campaign requested that the commission hold an earlier debate because many people may have already cast ballots by September due to expanded absentee voting periods.

The Trump campaign also wants each campaign to play a role in selecting the debate moderators, and to be allowed to veto certain journalists from serving in that role.

The commission, which has organized every general election presidential debate since 1988, said it would take the Trump campaign’s requests under advisement.

The more debates the better. Who the commentators are will be just as important.

Debates at this level are very important with so many issues. Why is Biden’s campaign afraid of at least 4 debates to cover the vast issues in America ? What are they afraid of as far as good debates.

Democrats are AFRAID for Biden to face president Trump they are AFRAID, AFRAID, AFRAID of a debate with president Trump because it will show how weak Biden is and that’s something the democratic party can’t afford.

Bottom line, Dems will find some excuse to keep Biden from having to participate in any debates.

My guess is they won’t even do one debate together so Biden can have ear piece so someone else tells him what to say. These debates need to be held with both of them in same place. Don’t allow ear pieces at all. Biden campaign will find way so they can help him answer questions. This needs to be normal debates. Any one asking the questions needs to be unbiased. What I mean you don’t get to put some one like media mob in there. But like I said they are ready starting virus thing again so democrats will try every excuse in book to keep Biden from debating. Excuse will be virus then something else so can’t be in sale room with President Trump.
