Former GOP senator outlines the future plot against Biden

This week, a former Republican lawmaker outlined a creeping suspicion about Joe Biden’s campaign — one that should help rally the GOP if the former vice president continues to gain traction.

Writing at The Hill’s website on Monday, Judd Gregg, who represented New Hampshire for three terms in the Senate and was also his state’s governor, floated the idea that Democrats will ease Biden out of the Oval Office if he wins.

On the macro level, the left’s “underlying agenda is becoming more and more apparent,” Gregg wrote. It is:

First, promote and promulgate the anti-Trump, anti-cop, anti-Founder protests, “even when they have led to lawlessness, looting, riots and declarations of autonomy.”

Second, seek and destroy “unbelievers” in order to pursue a “politically correct version of history, and doing so with a zeal that would have made Cotton Mather blush.”

Finally, “removing statues of historical figures that are deemed unacceptable based on today’s parameters of social justice.”

“The pilgrims of the progressive cause countenance no dissent as they rope and spray-paint the statues of people who once led the nation,” he writes.

So, the intent is to erase the past en route to power and crush any who might impede that drive. 

But so what? What good is an agenda if you have no way to implement it?

Gregg sees their path.

Biden is “suspect” to the hard left because he defeated the main leftist heroes, Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

Yet Gregg also notes Biden has shown no interest in fighting back against the extreme left’s political bloodlust. And since he has already committed to picking a woman for vice president, and most likely a black woman, the left-wing zealots “will not tolerate for long not being in total control” should Biden win. 

Gregg argues, “They will have their vice president, but not their president. And they are a very impatient people and movement. Since their goal is power and their purpose pure, why should they wait? The path to total control is clearly there once they have the vice presidency.

“It is the 25th Amendment.”

The 25th Amendment allows for the vice president to take over if he or she and a majority of the Cabinet can convince two-thirds of Congress that the president cannot execute the duties of the office.

“Within a few months of assuming the presidency,” Gregg writes, “Biden may find himself being the next statue toppled as the socialist/progressive movement moves closer to power.

“Replacing him with his vice president could be deemed necessary to the cause.”

The counter-argument to Gregg’s supposition is that Republicans will hold enough seats to block a two-thirds super-majority. Thus, Biden would be spared. 

Yet given the viciousness of the woke mob and its willingness to go after any foe, including its own, GOP lawmakers would likely hesitate to be portrayed as keeping a mentally compromised president at the helm.

“His colleagues could declare him too old to handle the presidency and remove him under the 25th Amendment,” Gregg argues. Then, he adds, “Power will be fully in the hands of the statue-removers, the social justice police and those who see America’s political history as basically evil. Socialist/progressive excess will govern.

“It will be a coup. Look over your shoulder, Joe. Watch your back. Donald Trump is not your most threatening problem.”

It’s a sound warning, but one that won’t be heeded. This means conservatives must remain vigilant and sound the bell about coy progressives who will deny Gregg’s obvious thesis and the gaslighting media that will try to help them.
