Epstein on Clinton: ‘He owes me a favor’
Newly unsealed documents in a previously settled civil case involving convicted pedophile Jeffery Epstein accuse former President Bill Clinton of going to Epstein’s infamous island in the U.S. Virgin Islands with “young girls.”
Virginia Giuffre, who says Epstein forced her to have sex with prominent and powerful public men, including Prince Andrew, says that she saw Clinton on the island with two young girls from New York and asked the deceased financier what Clinton was doing on the island.
“Well, he owes me a favor,” said Epstein according to the newly released documents.
“He never told me what favors they were,” Guiffre continued. “I never knew. I didn’t know if he was serious. It was just a joke… He told me a long time ago that everyone owes him favors. They’re all in each other’s pockets.”
In May, a Clinton spokesman denied the allegations as untrue, after another witness appeared in a Netflix documentary and corroborated the account of Giuffre.
Clinton has admitted that he flew on Epstein’s private jet, but denies he ever visited any of the homes that the financer allegedly kept to help facilitate the abuse of young girls.
“This was a lie the first time it was told, and it isn’t true today, no matter how many times it’s repeated,” Clinton’s spokesman, Angel Urena told the New York Post.
Giuffre says she never witnessed Clinton having sex with underage girls.
“In 2015, the now-defunct pop-culture and news website Gawker released the flight logbooks for Epstein’s Gulfstream and the Lolita Express 727,” says Newsweek. “Clinton is listed as having taken at least 11 flights on the Lolita Express,” the nickname for Epstein’s private jet, which was also equipped with a bedroom.
Newsweek claims that flight logs released by Gawker show Clinton traveling with a softcore porn actress, as well as Epstein’s former assistant Sarah Kellen, who has been accused of recruiting underage girls for Epstein’s sex schemes.
“On multiple flights, additional women who flew with Clinton are either listed by only their first name or simply as ‘female,’” Newsweek adds.
Giuffre also claims that Epstein told her that he had two 12-year old girls flown in from France for his birthday as a “present” from a close friend, who is French.
“I did see them, I did meet them,” says Giuffre in a deposition, according to the Daily Beast. “Jeffrey bragged afterwards after he met them that they were 12-year-olds and flown over from France because they’re really poor over there, and their parents needed the money.”
The documents were unsealed by a New York court this week, noting the public’s right to know the contents of the documents outweighed the right to privacy in the case.
