Two new Epstein stories focus on Clinton and Trump
Two new anecdotal accounts regarding two presidents’ relationships with Jeffrey Epstein appear to bolster previous descriptions of the relationship Bill Clinton (cozy) and Donald Trump (stormy) had with disgraced, deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Formula One race car driver Eddie Irvine says that he “partied” with ex-president Bill Clinton at one of Epstein’s parties and took it as normal, as the parties always featured the rich and famous, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
“The ex-Formula 1 racer said it was normal for the world’s most influential figures to turn up at Epstein’s lavish gatherings, which were always packed with models,” said the paper.
“I remember him being around — I saw all these people around,” he added regarding Clinton.
Irvine also said that he never saw anyone with underaged girls, but did verify that Virginia Roberts Giuffre was often present. She was 20 years old at the time.
Roberts, who is now married, alleges that she was abused by Epstein and his girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, and was often forced to have sex with older, powerful men like Prince Andrew when she was 17 years old as a part of a sex slave scheme in which the two entrapped her.
Maxwell is in jail awaiting trial for her part in the scheme. Epstein died in jail last year.
Clinton has denied having more than a passing friendship with Epstein.
“He’s not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade, and has never been to Little St. James Island, Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico, or his residence in Florida,” said a statement by Clinton’s spokesman last year.
In the meantime, a new account by Miami Herald journalists Nicholas Nehamas and Sarah Blaskey says that President Donald Trump kicked Jeffery Epstein out the Trump Mar-a-Lago estate after a member complained that Epstein harassed the member’s teenage daughter.
“Trump has previously referenced a falling out with Epstein, who was facing sex trafficking charges before he killed himself in prison last year. The president had said last year that he was ‘not a fan’ of Epstein and ‘threw him out’ of Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s longtime resort that now doubles as his official residence. The president also said they hadn’t spoken in 15 years,” says The Hill.
Epstein died while in custody awaiting trial.
Trump recently raised the possibility that Epstein might have been murdered in jail. The coroner says the cause of death was suicide by hanging.
