Clinton says Biden should not concede election results if he loses
Two-time Democrat presidential loser, Hillary Clinton, says that current Democratic candidate, Joe Biden, should not concede the election under any circumstances.
From a clip released by Showtime’s political show “The Circus,” Clinton said:
“Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances because I think this is going to drag out and eventually I do believe he will win if we don’t give an inch.”
Clinton’s words may be prescient as Democrats have hired hundreds of election attorneys nationwide in preparation, according to multiple sources, to challenge every state President Trump wins by a close margin.
Without citing any evidence, Clinton accused the Trump campaign of using intimidation tactics:
“We have to have our own teams of people to counter the force of intimidation that the Republicans and Trump are going to put outside polling places.”
Clinton has bitterly complained about the 2016 election in which she was defeated by Trump, even claiming the election was stolen from her.
“You can run the best campaign, you can even become the nominee, and you can have the election stolen from you,” Clinton said last year.
Clinton allies also made similar claims about the 2008 primary when she was defeated by then-Senator Barack Obama. Two years later, Clinton allies produced a documentary titled “We Will Not Be Silenced,” that recounted Democrat voter intimidation by Obama supporters.
Lacking substantial evidence, Democrats have been saying publicly that Trump is attempting to unlawfully influence the 2020 election, while also laying the groundwork for multiple challenges to the results of the election. Those efforts signal that it may be a while after voting is complete before a clear winner emerges.
