Lara Trump slams Wallace for ‘false claims’ on Trump masks at debate

Lara Trump responded forcefully to repeated false claims by “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace that the Trump family didn’t wear masks at the presidential debate, calling the claim “totally false.”

“Did you think, Lara, that the rules that applied to everybody else in that hall didn’t apply to you?” asked Wallace on Sunday.

“We walked in with a mask on. We sat down – all the seats were socially distanced, and…I want to be very clear, never one time did anyone from Cleveland Clinic come up and ask any member of our family to put a mask on. So, that is totally false,” she replied according to USA Today.

Wallace then claimed that staff from the Cleveland Clinic, in charge of health care at the event, offered the Trump family masks and that they refused.

“What I understand afterward is that Colby Covington, who was sitting behind me, had a MAGA mask on and they didn’t appreciate that apparently,” she said, referring to the UFC fighter and Trump supporter who attended the debate as a guest of the president. “So I think they were coming up to offer him maybe a different mask.”

Video from the event refutes the claim by Wallace and bolsters Lara Trump’s version of events.

“The video seems to show an employee offering a mask to a person sitting behind Trump, but does not capture one being offered to any members of the family,” says USA Today.

Wallace has come under intense scrutiny over allegations of overt bias after his performance as a debate moderator.

“WOW—-a FIRST CLASS job by @LaraLeaTrump —-taking Chris Wallace to ‘school.’ Chris has been pushing A LOT of bogus stuff, in a desperate attempt to take the focus off of his BIAS (that we all saw) at the debate. But he was SHUT DOWN in every way by LARA. Bravo!!” tweeted Newsmax host Greg Kelly.

The news media has been in a tizzy over claims that the presidential debate was a coronavirus “super spreader” event.

But the news media claims that practically everything to do with the President causes coronavirus.

Over the weekend, the Washington Post ran a story about several children and a teacher at the school attended by Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett that have tested positive for COVID-19 “less than two weeks after the Barrett family was honored at a White House event attended by several people who subsequently tested positive for the virus, including President Trump.”

The press has also blamed the president for COVID outbreaks in Tulsa, OK and the upper Midwest after pro-Trump rallies and events.

The WaPost also reported that Barrett tested positive for COVID over the summer, making it very unlikely she is the source of a COVID outbreak.

Kudos to Lara Trump for setting Mr. Wallace straight. I do not know what he was looking at, but I did see the Trump family and friends enter the debate arena with their masks on. When they took their seats I did see them take their masks off. However, the seats were set at 6″ feet apart according to CDC guidelines AND these guidelines say if you cannot socially distance ( stay 6′ or more apart ) you need to wear a mask. Seems to me the President’s party was practicing social distancing
Mr. Wallace should not be so one sided and be able to ask questions people want to know, things like the spying on the Trump campaign during Obama’s administration, the knowing of the Obama administration that the Steele dossier was a fake, and pushing Biden on his non response on the court packing question

If Amy Coney Barrett contracted the Coronavirus over the summer and has been cured, then she possesses the antibodies for COVID-19 and is now immune and cannot further spread the Coronavirus. It is also entirely possible that her family also carries the same antibodies so it is probable that they cannot further spread the virus.

and still no covid outbreaks among the rioters….

    perhaps it’s more SCAMDEMIC?

Or, since fauci is on video speaking in 2017 that President Trump would face a pandemic before the end of his first term, possibly in his last year, then….

January of PRESIDENT TRUMPS LAST YEAR OF HIS FIRST TERM…..

    POOF!!!

Exactly how was fauci so talented to STATE THE DISEASE AND EXACT TIME 3 years in advance?

was it a PLANNED-DEMIC and FRAUDULENT FROM THE BEGINNING?

Since the number of cases in Africa, which SHOULD HAVE BEEN the hardest hit, has very few cases? Does Hydroxychloroquiin really work?
Nearly all the People in Africa are on Anti Malaria drugs….
