‘Black truck’ allegedly driven by Trump supporter may be ‘victim’ in Biden bus incident: Police

The presence of congressional candidate Wendy Davis on the Biden-Harris bus in the Texas ‘Trump Train’ crash triggered an FBI investigation. The bus was escorted by a massive caravan of vehicles that had Trump, American, and pro-police flags. The Biden-Harris team was so alarmed, they called 911 and canceled three tour stops over the incident. It now turns out that the ensuing crash may have been the fault of a Biden-Harris staffer.
Originally, the Democrats claimed that Trump-supporters tried to force the bus off the road. But in reality, a white SUV belonging to a Biden-Harris staffer made an illegal lane change and collided with a Trump supporter’s black pickup truck.
Katie Naranjo, chair of the Travis County Democratic Party, tweeted that Trump supporters followed the bus in an attempt to intimidate Biden voters.
“They ran into a person’s car, yelling curse words and threats. Don’t let bullies win, vote,” she stated.
In a Twitter thread, historian Eric Cervini, who said he traveled to Texas to help the Biden-Harris campaign, said the Trump supporters waited on I-35 to “ambush” the bus.
“Rather than engage in productive conversation about the drastically different visions that Joe Biden and Donald Trump have for our country, Trump supporters in Texas instead decided to put our staff, surrogates, supporters, and others in harm’s way,” said Tariq Thowfeek, the Biden campaign’s Texas communications director.
The police department also said it has researched the crash and watched online videos of the incident. They said the “at-fault vehicle” may be the Biden-Harris staffer’s car, while the “victim” appears to be one of the Trump vehicles.
“San Marcos police said the Biden-Harris bus requested a police escort, but due to excessive traffic officers were not able to catch the bus before it left the jurisdiction.”
“The police department also said it has researched the crash and watched online video. It said the “at-fault vehicle” may be the Biden-Harris staffer’s car, while the “victim” appears to be one of the Trump vehicles.”
“The at-fault vehicle may be the white SUV and the victim appears to be the black truck,” a statement from SMPD reads.”
The FBI and police investigations are open and ongoing.
The statement by the police added: “Members of what is believed to be a campaign bus for Kamala Harris as well as following vehicles with campaign staffers advised the Kyle Police Department via telephone that they did not intend to stop, so Kyle Police obtained contact information so contact could be made at a later time.” It added that involved parties could contact San Marcos police if they wanted to file a report.
Video of the caravan shows a white van, reportedly driven by a Biden-Harris staffer on Interstate 35 in Hays County, and a black truck allegedly driven by a Trump supporter. The two vehicles briefly made contact but continued to drive while swerving between lanes, before the driver of the van returned to their own lane. The Biden staffer has not responded to inquiries by the San Marcos police and the driver of the truck has not filed a report.
“Where is the liberal corporate media’s concern about that real violence?” a statement from Texas Republican Party Chairman Allen West said in part. “It is more fake news and propaganda. Prepare to lose… stop bothering me.”
There is a video from someone who was present when the crash happened:

This would seem to be sufficient evidence indicating who was at fault in the incident.
