Brzezinski flips out over masks, then slams Joe for laughing at her: ‘I’m done with being polite!’

The dynamic duo of MSNBC’s co-spouses Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough got into it with one another as Mika flipped out over Joe’s Republican friends dissing coronavirus measures such as wearing masks. Joe laughed at her live on-air in an extended bit mocking her anger. It appeared to be nothing less than staged media theater.

On Friday, Brzezinski gushed over President-elect Joe Biden’s comments to CNN’s Jake Tapper about a possible mandate for Americans to engage in 100 days of universal masking after his inauguration.

“I just wonder, 100 days of masking across the board, Americans being required to wear masks, just how quickly the numbers will change,” Brzezinski stated, getting noticeably perturbed, “and I wonder if some of the friends you’ve been talking to, Joe, and some of the Republicans who’ve been standing by as stooges to President Trump, not stepping up for the American people and their safety, and quite frankly [not] stepping up against the president’s stupidity and cruelty, not being a leader on this coronavirus, I wonder how quickly the numbers will change, and I wonder if your friends and those Republicans will actually admit that actually doing basic things to mitigate this virus would have changed the course of this pandemic?”

The left and the media are claiming that Republicans who refuse to wear a mask are super-spreading the virus and are contributing to a death toll that CDC data suggests could be more than a hundred thousand higher than the official confirmed count — as high as nearly 400,000. There is absolutely no evidence to support the claim.

“Should I ask them that way?” Scarborough smirked, then began one of his signature extended fits of giggling through the rest of the segment as he acted out mocking Brzezinski.

“Yeah, ask them. Because you know what the numbers will change. And at this point, I don’t even…” Brzezinski continued as Scarborough laughed and mimicked calling his friends, to which Brzezinski seemed to warn him “I’d be careful…”

“Let me ask them, dial and, Willie what do you think?” Scarborough laughingly said. He then turned to co-bro Willie Geist. “Do you think I should ask my friends? Or do you think I should let Mika ask my friends in that tone?”

“Mika calls the restaurant, you call the friends. let’s just do it that way,” a seemingly amused Geist retorted.

“Honestly, honestly, how stupid can you be at this point?” a livid Brzezinski snapped. “If you just actually read about it, learn about it, how stupid can you be to be so arrogant and to be so flip about this when we have numbers like this? How crazy are you?”

“Well, we’ve been asking that question for quite some time. Again, I think I’ll be a little polite first and I’ll pick up the phone…” Scarborough snarked.

“I’m done with being polite,” Brzezinski interrupted. “I actually would like people in this country to stay alive. unlike some of your friends and Republicans in the Senate and in the House. And President Trump, whose presidency is killing people by the tens of thousands.”

“We agree with all that, we just don’t agree about how I approach my friends,” Scarborough replied. Brzezinski faux-snarled at him… “Friends? Those are great friends.”

As Scarborough continued his bit, Brzezinski said: “This president wanted you arrested, Joe. And they still stood by him. I’m just saying could you require that he doesn’t kill people?”

Brzezinski also went off on the White House’s coronavirus pandemic response Thursday morning, specifically singling out the administration’s ongoing, in-person Christmas parties and its defense of those celebrations. Brzezinski targeted White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, suggesting she’s acting like a middle-schooler in her defense of parties.

“This White House, you know what they’re doing? They’re having Christmas parties. They’re having more superspreader events. You got Mike Pompeo out there having parties. You got the White House having parties. Really?” Brzezinski shrilly asked.

She went on, “And when the White House is asked about this, this Kayleigh individual — who calls herself a press secretary or whatever she is — says in response, ‘Oh, you can loot and you can protest — we can have Christmas parties.’ What is this, eighth grade? Are all of you in eighth grade? You’re making a mockery of the health of the American citizens, the people who voted for you, and the people who didn’t vote for you.”

Then Mika turned to her favorite person to hate… President Trump: “For this president, for his task force, for Republicans in the Senate, for people who worked in the administration, it was all laid out for you. Literally, you had to work hard to do this badly,” she said, targeting Trump’s “weak, feckless, obsequious, self-serving staff and cabinet members who refused to step up and do what’s right for this country.”

She added, “All of this happening because of the worst leadership I’ve seen in my lifetime. … We know he’s trying not to lead. We know he’s going to try to have his own little party during the inauguration because he’s a big baby. But he’s killing people.”
