Brian Kilmeade claims Hunter Biden tax investigation could be ‘good news for Kamala Harris’

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade animatedly spoke on Fox & Friends concerning the Hunter Biden scandal and his impending tax investigation. He even went so far as to state that Joe Biden’s presidency might be brought to an early end over it and that could be very good news for presumptive Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.

The show segment went on at length on Thursday concerning a statement from the Biden transition team that Hunter is being investigated by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware. This prompted the New York Post’s reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop controversy to resurface and the allegations that the president-elect was involved in his son’s foreign business dealings were discussed as well.

Kilmeade emphatically pointed out the “unimpeachable integrity” of Tony Bobulinski before tearing into the media’s “outrageous” handling of the story.

“They’re not smears. There’s actual emails and interactions with government officials and meetings with perhaps maybe the future president of the United States that’s never been asked nor substantially denied. When you have pictures of yourself naked smoking crack and it’s not the worst thing on your laptop, you’re in trouble,” Kilmeade stated.

Kilmeade brought up the possibility that the probe would prematurely crush the Biden presidency and make way for Vice President-elect Kamala Harris to take control of the presidency.

“I just want to see the line that says ‘big guy.’ Because the big guy, according to Tony Bobulinski is Joe Biden,” Kilmeade said. “And that might be good news for Kamala Harris.”

In a surprise statement from the Joe Biden transition team on Wednesday, Hunter Biden said that his taxes are being investigated by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware.

“I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs,” he said in the statement.

“I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.”

The Hunter Biden email scandal was a major story in the final weeks of the 2020 presidential election. It was openly censored on social media in an alleged attempt to assist Joe Biden in winning the presidency. The media spun it as a pack of lies meant to smear the Bidens, claiming a lack of credibility on the part of witnesses and that no truly damaging evidence in the case existed against either Biden.

CNN is reporting that the investigation into Hunter Biden paused before the election because of DOJ guidelines, but it’s continuing now with a focus on “whether Hunter Biden and associates violated tax and money laundering laws in business dealings in foreign countries, principally China.” Many consider the timing of the investigation to be suspect.

The investigation reportedly began “as early as 2018” and one source told CNN “some of those transactions involved people who the FBI believe sparked counterintelligence concerns, a common issue when dealing with Chinese business.”
