David Webb: Hunter Biden investigation showing Joe ‘lied to the American people’
Fox Nation host David Webb appeared on ‘Fox & Friends First’ to discuss the Hunter Biden scandal and why it has everything to do with how President-elect Joe Biden lied about his involvement in Hunter’s business dealings. Biden has denied his involvement in the scandal even as emails from 2017 have emerged that indicate the exact opposite occurred.
Webb made no bones about it and stated that Joe Biden had lied to the American people. That is allegedly proven by text messages and emails that have surfaced concerning business dealings in Ukraine and China. He says the scandal is truly about Joe Biden as Hunter had nothing to offer in all the exchanges. It was all about Joe Biden and influence-peddling.
Biden had previously stated that he didn’t know what his son was involved in, yet there has been an ongoing investigation for two years. The panel discussed as well Joe Biden’s brother James who when asked if he was concerned about Joe being linked to the Chinese Communist Party, simply replied with “plausible deniability.” Webb pointed out that ‘deniability’ is how D.C. works.
Webb also stated that James Biden did not have the expertise to obtain a contract to build homes nor did Hunter Biden have the financial management expertise required for his position either. Both were given millions of dollars for positions they were professionally not qualified for. Webb flatly states that this will probably end with Hunter making a payment on taxes and the whole affair being buried as if Joe Biden had nothing to do with it at all.
On Tuesday, Hunder Biden was subpoenaed by federal prosecutors for his business dealings with more than two dozen entities, including Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings and companies based in China.
Hunter announced on Wednesday through his father’s transition team that his attorney had been notified that he was the target of an investigation into his “tax affairs.”
Joe Biden’s son did not disclose any other details of the investigation in his statement. The investigation allegedly started in 2018, before Joe Biden launched his presidential campaign. Along with his taxes, the feds are also looking into potential money laundering offenses.
The subpoena, issued through the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware, seeks records related to Burisma Holdings and Chinese companies that are not named in the report.

Hunter Biden joined the board of Burisma Holdings in April 2014, months after his father had taken over as the Obama administration’s chief liaison to the Ukrainian government.
Burisma executives were at the time seeking to expand the company’s business outside of Ukraine. They were trying to squelch various investigations into Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevesky, who was under investigation for bribery.
Burisma paid Hunter Biden and his business partner, Devon Archer, more than $80,000 per month as board members.
Biden also consulted for CEFC China Energy, a major Chinese energy firm whose chairman had suspected links to the People’s Liberation Army.
A Sept. 20, 2017 email has surfaced where Hunter Biden requested keys be made for his new “office mates.” He listed his father, President-elect Joe Biden, Jill Biden, and his uncle, James Biden, for space he planned to share with an “emissary” for a chairman of a Chinese energy company.
A Senate report released on Sept. 23 revealed that CEFC wired Hunter Biden nearly $6 million from August 2017 to September 2018. The report said that U.S. banking regulators flagged some of the wire payments for potential criminal activity.
Republican senators are claiming that Hunter Biden’s financial dealings raised “criminal financial, counterintelligence and extortion concerns.”
