‘I will never forget!’: President Trump puts spineless GOP senators on notice

President Trump tweeted a warning on Christmas Eve to GOP senators who are turning on him: “I saved at least 8 Republican Senators, including Mitch, from losing in the last Rigged (for President) Election. Now they (almost all) sit back and watch me fight against a crooked and vicious foe, the Radical Left Democrats. I will NEVER FORGET!” His 75 million voters will also not forget who stood by the president and who jumped ship.

Trump has helped a number of Republican senators gain or retain their seats since he entered office. Many of them now are urging him to concede to Joe Biden. They are turning from exposing voter fraud to welcoming in a new administration and that has the president livid.

Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has allegedly contacted Senator-elect Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) to urge him to abandon President Trump in his attempt to deny the Electoral College vote. Others such as Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE) are calling Trump’s pardons ‘criminal’. There is a long list of others who were loyal when it was convenient and are now going with the political winds on Capitol Hill.

Trump has never been one to just sit back and watch and he will no doubt never forget the breadth and depth of the betrayal he has experienced while in office.

Many credit President Trump with the GOP stopping a ‘blue wave’ that would have flipped control of Congress to the Democrats. Key Senate races that polls indicated could have been close or perhaps could have been won by the Democrats were instead kept in the GOP column, including those of Senators Susan Collins of Maine; Lindsey Graham of South Carolina; and Thom Tillis of North Carolina.

Everything hinges now on the Georgia Senate run-off. If Republicans win both seats, they will retain control of the Senate. If they lose one seat, their control becomes extremely marginal. If they lose both, the Senate is evenly divided and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris becomes the tie-breaker, essentially giving control of the Senate to the Democrats. They would then control the Executive and Legislative branches of our government.

On Thursday, it was reported that Trump ordered his political aides to monitor Republican incumbents who are up for re-election in 2022. Trump has a deep war chest that he can use to run in 2024, but he can also use it to sway elections of those who ostensibly turned on him.

One potential target is Senate Majority Whip John Thune of South Dakota, who earlier this week said that a longshot attempt by the president’s allies to challenge the Electoral College vote in Congress “would go down like a shot dog” in the Senate. Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska are also potentially on the list.

President Trump also took aim at social media for censoring him and his supporters before, during, and after the election. He will no doubt go after them as well.

“Twitter is going wild with their flags, trying hard to suppress even the truth. Just shows how dangerous they are, purposely stifling free speech. Very dangerous for our Country. Does Congress know that this is how Communism starts? Cancel Culture at its worst. End Section 230!”

Also on Thursday, Trump posted an all-caps message which read: ‘VOTER FRAUD IS NOT A CONSPIRACY THEORY, IT IS A FACT!!!’

It appears that most of Trump’s legal and Constitutional remedies are now exhausted over the 2020 presidential election although there is a plan to dispute the Electoral College votes. His fight will not end there nor will the support of Trump’s millions of followers.

Trump is enraged at members of the Republican Party for refusing to overturn the presidential election’s result.

“At a meeting in Florida today, everyone was asking why aren’t the Republicans up in arms & fighting over the fact that the Democrats stole the rigged presidential election?” he wrote Thursday afternoon. “Especially in the Senate, they said, where you helped 8 Senators win their races. How quickly they forget!”

Trump tweeted new videos that claimed widespread election fraud occurred.

A campaign spokesman said that the campaign will be spending more than $5 million for those ads to air through the night of January 5, the day before Congress meets to finalize the Electoral College count.

The ads are running nationally on Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, Newsmax, and One America News Network, with more specific ads geared to voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Radio ads with a similar message are also part of the ad buy.
