Hillary Clinton trolls ‘Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’ and it backfires bigly

She’s back! Actually, Hillary Clinton never went away. Unfortunately, she just couldn’t sit still over the Georgia runoffs and had to gloat and troll Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. The Senate is now a 50/50 split, with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris being the deciding vote in the event of a tie. After Hillary tweeted, social media roasted her while reminding Clinton of how she was a political loser – twice. Ouch.

Clinton started Wednesday morning with a tweet congratulating Warnock and Ossoff in Georgia and “everyone who organized and voted to get them there.” She’s once again trying to be the center of attention. Fail.

She also retweeted a 2016 tweet from Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) that Clinton kept just for such an occasion. “If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed…….and we will deserve it,” wrote Graham.

Then, Clinton went trolling with five words: “Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.”

A slate of Democratic officials also mocked McConnell about the potential change in Senate leadership on Tuesday after the polls closed in the Peach State. They were just giddy with hatred and bile.

The Squad’s Pramila Jayapal tweeted: “Just practicing: Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell. Sounding very, very good.”

Ted Lieu tweeted: “With the DeKalb update, it’s clear Ossoff and Warnock are going to win. Can you say: Minority Leader Mitch McConnell? Wait, I didn’t hear you. Let’s say again: Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. And just for good measure: Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.”

Current Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) on Wednesday declared himself the Senate “majority leader,” asserting that Democrats have regained control of the upper chamber.

“It feels like a brand new day. For the first time in six years, Democrats will operate a majority in the United States Senate — and that will be very good for the American people,” Schumer said in a statement released Wednesday morning.

But the Democrats’ wins were not so welcome on social media. Many pointed out Hillary Clinton’s past failures. Since she went after Mitch McConnell, what’s good for the goose is good for the Hildabeast.

Anonymous Gritty on Twitter threw shade at Clinton expertly: “Failed Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton.”

But my favorite by far came from Chris Stigall: “A woman who envisioned herself as leader of the free world was twice rejected and has now been reduced to making herself feel better with sick Twitter burns.”

Sadly, it appears that Hillary is done walking in the woods and looks to get involved in the Biden administration. Hey, if you can’t win an election, help those who can steal one. Witness the horrific ascension once again of a perennial sore loser such as Hillary Clinton.
