Lemon claims Trump supporters are in the same crowd as Capitol rioters, Nazis, KKK, alt-right

CNN’s Don Lemon made a vile comparison on his program Wednesday night and you guessed it… it was over Trump and his supporters. He basically said that anyone who voted for Trump was in the same camp as rioters at the U.S. Capitol as well as the Ku Klux Klan, Nazis, the alt-right, and those who support slavery and bigotry. I think he covered all the leftist bases there in that vicious statement.

Lemon was talking with his friend and colleague Chris Cuomo when they turned to Trump voters and the Capitol riot last week. They just can’t get enough of the topic and they used it as a side dish for the second impeachment of Trump.

“Now what you hear is, ‘Well, you can’t say that everybody who voted for Trump is like the people who went into the Capitol,'” Cuomo stated before asking Lemon for his reaction.

“You need to think about the side you’re on,” Lemon replied. “Principled people — conservative or liberal — never on the Klan side. Principled people — conservative or liberal — never on the Nazi side. Principled people who are conservative or liberal never on the side that treats their fellow Americans as less-than. That says that your fellow Americans should not exist. That says your fellow Americans should be in a concentration camp or that sides with slavery or sides with any sort of bigotry.”

“Right,” Cuomo replied. “And if they say, ‘I don’t agree with those people, I just like Trump’s policies—'”

“Well, then get out of the crowd with them,” Lemon sneered. “Get out of the crowd with them.”

“I wasn’t in the crowd; I just voted for Trump,” Cuomo replied, pretending to be a Trump voter.

“You’re in the crowd who voted for Trump,” Lemon answered. “If you voted for Trump, you voted for the person who the Klan supported. You voted for the person who Nazis support. You voted for the person who the alt-right supports. That’s the crowd that you are in. You voted for a person who incited a crowd to go into the Capitol and potentially take the lives of lawmakers, took the lives of police officers, took the … innocent lives of the people who were at the Capitol that day.”

Lemon added: “You voted on that side.”

Lemon also went on about how the media had warned us about racist white Trump supporters causing violence:

“But this is about America’s original sin, and that is racism…This is about people who are dying and the country continuing to go down the wrong road and not facing its original sin. That’s what this is. We had racist people who tried to take over the Capitol. We have tens of thousands of members of the military who are now guarding the Capitol of this country because of what? Because these people tried to take over the country, because we told you about it. The news told you about it….Law enforcement told you about it.”

Last year Lemon said: “Ask anyone who knows me, they’ll tell you, I don’t believe in belittling people, belittling anyone for who they are, what they believe or where they’re from.” Really? Because he just did it again. Both Lemon and Cuomo spout bigoted and racist opinions nightly along with unbridled hate for all things Trump.

Sometimes, it’s hard to believe that they really look at things this way. Then you remember that this is CNN.

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro nailed Lemon, calling his statements “vile.”

“It’s this deliberate attempt to lump together anyone who voted for Trump and the Capitol rioters that undermines the possibility of unity,” he added. “It also happens to be false and indecent.”

Well put. Trump is not a racist – he has supported minorities more than any other president. He also made historic moves in the Middle East and is the strongest president in support of Israel on record – ever. He did not incite the rioters either.

Don Lemon does his level best every day to divide America further. He appears to actively stokes the fires of unrest. His incendiary rhetoric echoes the left’s dog whistles meant to take Trump down permanently.
