While seeking anonymous sex on the beaches of Spain might sound like a delightful way to spend your vacation, a new environmental study indicates the salacious encounters might not be that great for the land.
Beachside bonking has reportedly damaged “eight native plant species, three of which are endemic.” Furthermore, “the bigger the sex spot, the higher the number of people who made use of it, the greater the likelihood of it being a low-lying area covered by vegetation, and the larger the amount of waste.”
