‘DEATH WISH’: Trump unloads on Mitch McConnell hammers his ‘China-loving wife, Coco Chow’

Former President Trump went beast mode on Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Truth Social, asserting he has a death wish, and took a swipe at his wife, former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, calling her his “China-loving wife, Coco Chow.”

“Is McConnell approving all of these Trillions of Dollars worth of Democrat sponsored Bills, without even the slightest bit of negotiation, because he hates Donald J. Trump, and he knows I am strongly opposed to them, or is he doing it because he believes in the Fake and Highly Destructive Green New Deal, and is willing to take the Country down with him?” Trump wrote on Truth Social Friday.

“In any event, either reason is unacceptable. He has a DEATH WISH. Must immediately seek help and advise from his China loving wife, Coco Chow!” the former president railed.

Chao was born in Taiwan and has served in both Trump’s and former President George W. Bush’s cabinets. Her family is said to have extensive business dealings in China.

Trump’s comments went viral immediately with the leftist media and Democrats seizing on them. Among those disingenuously screaming was MSNBC hack Chris Hayes who posited, “Kinda seems like the ex-president just posted a death threat aimed at Mitch McConnell… I mean, I guess he means it figuratively? Maybe?”

Trump was not specific on which bills he was referring to but there is a ton of spending going on by Democrats and President Biden is pushing his climate change agenda for all it’s worth. If their Green New Deal legislation sees traction, the United States could potentially find itself in a similar situation as Europe in regard to energy shortages.

The former president has taken aim at Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act and is incensed at McConnell for allowing Democrats to push it through.

“Mitch McConnell is giving the Democrats everything they want. He is their lapdog! He didn’t stop trillions of dollars in spending by refusing to use the Debt Ceiling as a negotiating tool. He gave it up for nothing. Now he wants to give Manchin the thing he wanted in order to destroy America, and even the People of West Virginia. How about his tax on coal? The Republican Senate must do something about this absolute Loser, Mitch McConnell, who folds every time against the Democrats—and he’s only getting worse!” Trump proclaimed in September.

When asked about Trump’s comments on Friday, Trump spokesperson Taylor Budowich commented to NBC News that it was “absurd” to suggest the former president’s post could be construed as dangerous.

Mitch McConnell is killing the Republican Party through weakness and cowardice. He obviously has a political death wish for himself and Republican Party, but President Trump and the America First champions in Congress will save the Republican Party and our nation,” Budowich asserted in an email.

McConnell appears to be siding with Democrats over the Jan. 6 faceoff as well enflaming further tensions with Trump.

“Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) support for the Electoral Count Act is renewing the schism between him and former President Trump, setting up a vote likely to divide the GOP caucus,” The Hill is reporting.

“Supporters are hopeful that McConnell’s backing will lead to a majority of the Senate GOP conference backing the legislation, drafted in response to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol that many blame on Trump,” the outlet continued.

The legislation would raise the threshold for lawmakers to object to Electoral College votes from one senator and House member to one-fifth of each chamber. It would also block state officials from submitting electoral votes that do not align with a state’s popular vote.

A number of Republicans are lining up in support of the bill but Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is not one of them.

“I understand why Democrats are supporting this bill,” he said. “What I don’t understand is why Republicans are supporting it.”
