The warning signs are all there after President Joe Biden has hinted at ramping up military involvement in the Middle East in defense of Israel.
In a move that may signal yet another possible escalation to war, the first plane carrying US ammunition has landed in Israel
“A first transport plane with ‘advanced’ American ammunition landed at the Nevatim airbase in southern Israel this evening, the military says,” The Times of Israel reported. “The IDF says the ammunition is intended ‘to enable significant strikes and preparations for additional scenarios.'”
“We are grateful for the American support and assistance to the IDF in particular, and to the State of Israel in general, during this challenging period,” the Israel Defense Forces said. “Our common enemies know that the cooperation between the armies is stronger than ever, and is a key part of ensuring regional security and stability.”
Warships and aircraft were quickly mobilized by the U.S. to help Israel in its defense against the terroristic attacks as “concern that the deadly fighting between Hamas and Israel could escalate into a more dangerous regional conflict. So the primary mission for those ships and warplanes for now is to establish a force presence that deters Hezbollah, Iran or others from taking advantage of the situation. But the forces the U.S. sent are capable of more than that,” reported the Associated Press.

“We’re surging additional military assistance, including ammunition and interceptors to replenish Iron Dome,” President Joe Biden said Tuesday. “We’re going to make sure that Israel does not run out of these critical assets to defend its cities and its citizens.”
In addition, U.S. special operations forces were sent to assist Israel with planning and intelligence needs. The Gerald R. Ford carrier strike group also is part of the arsenal of assistance being provided, supplying medics, helicopters and F-18 fighter jets on board.

The transport planes were picking up U.S. military personnel who were there for a military exercise that hadn’t started yet when the attacks began, the Air Force said in a statement,” AP reported.
