Eric Swalwell’s love for Hunter Biden could mean legal trouble

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) could be in a heap of trouble for helping Hunter Biden to defy his congressional subpoena.

On Wednesday, the scandalous First Son held a press conference outside the Capitol during which he played the victim of the “MAGA Right” and snubbed his scheduled House Oversight Committee deposition.

With his attorney and Swalwell by his side, Hunter insisted President Biden had no financial involvement in his shady business deals.

“My father was not financially involved in my business — Not as a practicing lawyer. Not as a board member of Burisma, not in my partnership with a Chinese private businessman, not my investment at all nor abroad, and certainly not as an artist,” he said.

According to the Washington Examiner, “The younger Biden had offered to appear in public for a congressional hearing but had refused the private deposition, arguing that could give way to selective leaks.”

Apparently, Swalwell just couldn’t resist an opportunity to stand in Hunter’s shadow.

The Examiner’s Ashley Oliver reported on X, “It seems Rep. Eric Swalwell reserved the spot for Hunter Biden’s press conference today.”

RealClear Investigations reporter Paul Sperry reported on X, “House sources say that Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell–as a member of the Judiciary Committee, which subpoenaed Hunter Biden–‘aided and abetted’ a crime this morning when he worked with Hunter’s lawyer Abbe Lowell to help Hunter flout the subpoena in contempt of Congress.”

In an “update” to the story, Sperry later revealed, “Hill sources tell me GOP leadership may file ethics complaint” against Swalwell.

Users on X called on Congress to take action against the insufferable Swalwell, who is probably best known for sleeping with a Chinese spy and farting on national television.

“He serves on several committees, including the House Judiciary Committee and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Additionally, he is a member of the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Committee on Homeland Security,” wrote one user. “He should be removed from all his committees!”

“An ethics complaint isn’t good enough,” stated another. “The man belongs in prison.”

“They should expel Eric Swalwell, just like George Santos,” declared a third. “Santos was expelled for less than this.”

Though many are angry, few are surprised by Swalwell’s affinity for Hunter Biden.

As one X user noted, “Swine stick together.”
