Ocasio-Cortez ‘RELATIONSHIP’ Offer – $100,000 In Cash!

New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been an outspoken critic of Israel’s fight against the terror group Hamas taking place in Gaza, and a move that she didn’t make three years ago may shed some light on why.

Despite public feuds between Ocasio-Cortez and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) it’s been revealed that the pro-Israel group took a very different tactic and sought to win over the progressive ‘Squad’ member not long after her primary win in 2018.

In Washington bureau chief for The Intercept Ryan Grim’s new book, “The Squad: AOC and the Hope of a Political Party” the author and apparent AOC superfan alleges that a representative of AIPAC offered AOC’s campaign $100,000 and teased much more to come if the Democrat firebrand would be willing to “start a conversation” about Israel.

The lucrative offer reportedly happened after AOC’s disastrous, and now infamous, interview on PBS’s ‘Firing Line’ where the freshman Dem stated she was against Israel’s occupation, but after a brief grilling conceded that she was “not an expert” on the subject.

Still, according to this report, AIPAC had hoped that they could sway the fledgling progressive’s mind with some cold, hard cash.

Huffpost followed up with AOC’s spokesperson at the time, Corbin Trent, to follow up on the phone call he allegedly received from AIPAC.

“The implication was that her positions could be repaired with conversations, that her positions were based on a lack of information and lack of proximity to enough of a variety of people,” Trent recalled, according to Huffpost.

It’s almost a ‘business as usual’ story about how things work in DC except for the fact that AOC’s team reportedly turned down the offer.

So, what does this say about AOC?

Aside from the assumption that her campaign was likely already flush with money, it likely shows that she’s a good little leftist and is willing to stick to the narrative even after admitting she doesn’t have a thorough grasp on the subject — and AIPAC knew it too.

If Ocasio-Cortez was a truly liberal-minded person who went to D.C. to serve the people, she should have turned down the cash and, at least, had a conservation with open ears. Who knows, maybe she’d be singing a different tune, today.
