Ron DeSantis ACCUSED – Racial ‘Attack’ Reported…

The criticisms directed at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, be it from the liberal media or Team Trump, have little to do with his actual record or the policies he supports.

Instead, they ridicule the Republican presidential candidate with silly claims about using lifts in his boots or attack him as an establishment candidate, which is a stretch, or call him a racist, and it’s on that latter note that Florida Politics called attention to DeSantis mispronouncing the first name of Vice President Kamala Harris — if you thought that horse was beat to death in 2020, the left-leaning outlet revived it just so they can beat it to death a second time.

“Told he was mispronouncing her name by saying it like the 80s pro wrestler Kamala’s name was said, instead of saying it as she says it (kaa·muh·luh), DeSantis told a reporter in Iowa it didn’t matter,” wrote Florida Politics’ A.J. Gancarski. “It is uncertain why DeSantis would believe his pronunciation of her name is canonical or supersedes the correct pronunciation, but this is the latest in a series of microaggressions targeted from him to her.”

According to the headline, DeSantis doesn’t respect Harris enough to “say her name correctly.”

It’s not clear where the outlet stands on President Biden’s mispronunciation of his vice president’s name:

Heaven forbid media outlets cover important issues like 8 million foreign nationals invading our southern border — keep in mind that President Biden tapped Harris as his border czar to address the issue of immigration, which has reached historic proportions under her watch.

Not that Gancarski missed this entirely. He pointed out that the DeSantis campaign “stole a page from bygone talk show host David Letterman, with a coffee cup and a T-shirt spotlighting ’10 things Kamala Harris should focus her time on.'”

“Nine of those things involve ‘closing the border.’ And the 10th? ‘Making sure Joe Biden doesn’t fall,'” he wrote.

Among the aforementioned microaggressions is that DeSantis “has spent her entire term as Vice President diminishing her,” the reporter claimed, after pointing out that DeSantis thinks Harris is the most likely person to replace President Biden should he decide not to run.

Another DeSantis sin, according to the Florida Politics scribe, was to suggest in July 2022 that Harris was “impeachment insurance.”

“So, here’s the thing. I thought Biden picking her at first was the worst decision ever because she’s not great. But she’s like the best impeachment insurance and 25th Amendment insurance anyone could have,” DeSantis said at the time.

“Because as bad as Biden is, even though he can barely read the teleprompter, and as much as people disapprove of him, nobody wants Harris, and so they’d much rather stick with Biden floundering around than actually turn the wheels of power over to somebody that clearly is in over her head,” he added.
