In another example of how much contempt the “Deep State” has for Republicans in power, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville became the target of a shocking comment suggesting he be removed from the “human race.”
And that came from none other than a retired US intelligence official, who also took a shot at the “MAGAnuts” who criticized his take.
Former CIA and NSA Director Gen. Michael Hayden previously called Tuberville an “idiot” and a “racist.” But on Monday, he ramped up his rhetoric by seeming to call for the assassination of the Alabama Republican who has created a backlog in filling leadership positions after he announced he would hold on bulk confirmations of military nominations because of the Pentagon’s abortion policy.
After one social media user on X (formerly Twitter) asked if Tuberville should be “removed from his committee,” Hayden responded, “How about the human race?”

“Former CIA Director Michael Hayden calls for the assassination of Sen. Tuberville because the senator is performing desperately needed oversight of the U.S. Military,” The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway tweeted.
She was not alone in condemning the former CIA chief for seeming to call for the assassination of a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Rather than backtrack after being torched online, Hayden doubled down with a follow-up tweet on Tuesday.
“I was surprised to wake up this morning and discover that many MAGAnuts had lost their minds over my suggestion that ‘Coach’ Tuberville not be considered a member of the human race,” Hayden tweeted. “I stand by that view. I’m wishing you all a nice day even the intransigent Tommy Tuberville.”

Hayden, who was part of the infamous letter by former intelligence officials discrediting the New York Post’s story on Hunter Biden’s laptop, was met with deserved backlash online.

With “generals” like you no wonder this country doesn’t win wars.
